Water start, following the safety boat.

Surfskis, Spec Skis, Seakayaks, Outrigger Canoes, Stand-up Paddle Boards, Plastic Sit-on tops
SHORT COURSE
Water start from the end of the jetty, head east into Warners Bay then south to Eleebana Head the west across to Awaba Bay and the north back to finish adjacent to the jetty at Speers Point. One lap is 10 km.
LONG COURSE
Two laps of the 10 km course.

Approx 11.30am adjacent to the Rotunda.

RACE SINGLETS
The singlets are to be worn by all paddlers. They will be issued to each paddler entering the Series for the first time. Paddlers doing a subsequent event must bring and wear the singlet issued at the first race.
LEG ROPES
All surfski, OC and SUP paddlers must have a leg leash available for wearing on the day. The Race Director will decide on the day if leg leashes must be worn.
LIFEJACKETS
Every paddler must have a Lifejacket and wear it throughout the event if directed by the Race Director.
SCRUTINEERING
There will be a scrutineer to ensure the Race Directors requirements are adhered to.
SAFETY BOATS
There will be Rescue Craft along the course, but it is the responsibility of each paddler to ensure that he or she is fit and able to complete the race.
CANCELLATION
The Race Director may cancel or reject any entry to the race at any time for any reason he sees fit, including medical and fitness conditions, non-compliance with Race Organisers directions or unsportsmanlike behaviour.
RISK
This is a demanding event. The event organisers cannot guarantee your safety. Possible risks include injury and/or drowning, due to being hit by other persons, objects or boats. Other hazards include rocks, razor clams, stingrays and sharks. Competitors enter at their own personal risk and are responsible for their own physical condition.
SERIES POINTSCORE
Points will be accumulated in each category leading to placings and prizes at the end of the Series. The Pointscores are on the results lists.
PRESENTATION
There will be lucky ticket prizes at the presentation held afterwards. Paddlers will have access to toilet facilities and showers at the adjacent Speers Point Swimming Pool.
