In 2012, Paddlefest celebrates its sixth birthday, with a paddling fun day at Speers Point Park on Sunday 4 March.

For keen paddlers, once again, in 2012 we welcome Harbour Racing to Paddlefest.  Paddlefest is the second in an exciting five race Harbour Racing summer series.

Help raise funds to assist the Salvation Army to provide emergency accommodation and support for homeless people in our community. In 2012, our aim is to raise $40,000 at Paddlefest, which will make a homeless support centre a reality in western Lake Macquarie by the end of 2012.

On water action will start at 8am and continue until 3pm, with registrations from 7.30am

Paddlefest 2012 will once again feature local bands, providing entertainment for a great day in the park. Food and drinks will be available on site.

We are planning a trade exhibition with local camping and holidaying businesses, including Try a Paddle and paddle coaching.
